Oregon Coast Guard Purchases a Digital Sign to Inform Boaters!

The Oregon Coast Guard has recently purchased a Digital Sign to share vital information with boaters on the waters!  The digital sign is strategically placed along the shoreline so every boat heading out to sea must pass it.  The signs purpose is to notify citizens of current boating restrictions, rules and regulations and any warnings for safety.  The digital sign is easily programmed to display current time and temperature, warnings such as strong currents or high waves, speed limits near certain buoys, and certain restrictions based on boat sizes and capabilities based on the weather.
